Early morning departure to Tortuguero National Park on the Atlantic coast. Stop along the way for breakfast. Continue through banana plantations until reaching the pier. At a locally agreed-upon time, take a walk through the lush tropical jungle, where nature lovers can observe many species of birds, mammals, and reptiles. Rivers flow through this region, carrying sediments that are parallelly accumulated by marine currents, forming extensive dark sand beaches that are one of the main nesting points for sea turtles throughout the Caribbean region (from June to October). After lunch, continue to enjoy the wonders of the Caribbean with a boat ride through the Tortuguero Canals. Return to the hotel and accommodation. (Full Board)
